Before departing from Mambanje Village, Zimbabwe, the team sat down with community council member and multi-instrumentalist Machaingwe to hear his thoughts on the project as well as the impression it made on the community there. Until Conservation Music arrived, it had been 25 years since Machaingwe had touched a musical instrument, but his playing was fantastic. If you would like to help us source instruments for Mambanje Village, enabling Machaingwe to pass on his musical skills in addition to his newfound conservation mentality, please do reach out!
