New Earth Song in Eswatini!
Nakekela Umhlaba – Take Care Of The Earth
Starring Eswatini legends Pachanga, Velemseni, Qibho Intalektual, Sands, Bholoja, Black Rhino, and Buddy Masango, this beautiful fusion of sounds encourages the people of Eswatini to look after the planet that sustains them. The chorus response by Velemseni, “dry like a stolen hide,” evokes a visceral image of climate change, as each verse illustrates a different lesson to be learned by the animals found in Eswatini’s Big Game Parks.
Where can I see it?

MTN Bushfire’s #KeepTheFireBurning 2020
On May 30, 2020 – their traditional festival weekend – MTN Bushfire will keep the magic of unity alive with an all-new, exciting interactive digital broadcast, the #KeepTheFireBurning Live Experience. A first of its kind for an online festival, they’ll be recreating the unique atmosphere of the MTN Bushfire festival that keeps Fire Starters from around the world coming back year after year.
Inspired by the festival’s #BRINGYOURFIRE call to action for positive change, the #KeepTheFireBurning live-cast is part of MTN Bushfire’s COVID-19 response to support our beneficiaries, Young Heroes and boMake Rural Projects.
Using the power of the arts to keep hope alive and celebrate our diversity, the #KeepTheFireBurning Live Experience will present an eclectic line-up of electrifying performances, featuring some of the dynamic range of artists who have graced the festival’s stages over the last 13 years, as well as specially recorded “at home” sessions from a range of global artists.
Check out the launch on May 30th at #KeepYourFireBurning, and come back any time after the festival to see the music video below!
