Inspired by the African term “Ubuntu” meaning “humanity” and “I am because we are”, AFREEFEST is a platform that was created to share cultural experiences in art, music, and creativity. Conservation Music is proud to serve as AFREEFEST’s official Facebook streaming and donations partner this Mandela Day, July 18th 2020!

The festival is powered by people who encourage change and as part of the festival’s mission, to inspire all, each of the performing musicians will share a personal message to the world.

Despite the turbulence that is ongoing in the world, together we can celebrate freedom, change, and positivity. We can inspire action towards a bright and united future through the power of music, and put it to work for the people of this Earth.

The festival will go online on Mandela Day, 18 July from 00:01 AM (CAT – Central African Time) till 23:59 PM and will be aired on our facebook accounts, within this very blog post, and in many other places! Whilst the event will be FREE, viewers are encouraged to donate what they can. Conservation Music will serve as a donations partner for this event, as it extends its mission beyond environmental causes to support artists in need during COVID-19.

Make sure to tune in, turn up the volume and enjoy!
